在使用中要按照使用说明书的要求使用漏电保护器，并按规定每月检查一次，即操作漏电保护器的试验按钮，检查其是否能正常断开电源。在检查时应注意操作试验按钮的时间不能太长，一般以点动为宜，次数也不能太多，以免烧毁内部元件。
